Isla is a Film Production company specializing in commercial, documentary, and cinematic work. They collaborate with top brands, renowned directors, and photographers on a national level.
Requirement
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Isla decided to relaunch its brand with the aim of conveying a sense of timeliness and a new, younger, bolder personality. The new image would be unveiled at a launch party, which would also introduce a restructuring and new direction characterized by fresh ideas executed by emerging talent.
Design Process
We initiated the design process by conducting an in-depth brief with the brand owners. Together, we defined the core values, desired tone of voice, and target audience.
Building on this solid foundation, we created a visual mood board to guide the development of the new identity. We explored a contemporary aesthetic, characterized by the harmony of grids, simple geometries, striking gradients, and bold contrasts. We selected robust, futuristic typefaces to reflect the brand’s vision of modernity and dynamism.
Digital Products
For the website, we embraced creative freedom, prioritizing dynamism and visual impact over strict readability. The focus was on showcasing the productions in a striking manner.
Given the new aesthetic, we decided to incorporate elements reminiscent of early internet styles. With a minimalist yet eye-catching approach, we implemented simple special effects such as text marquees and 3D effects. These can be seen in the dynamic homepage mural celebrating the 10th anniversary and in the floating information element styled like a flyer.
